August marked a significant milestone with our debut stage performance at Kasere. Our team witnessed firsthand the fruition of ideas we'd cultivated over the preceding month.
We previously announced our collaboration with LISA, a partnership that has been vital in realising our vision. LISA's graduation, scheduled for the 31st of August, allowed us to showcase our creativity on stage - a challenge we embraced wholeheartedly.
The Amazing LISA Kids
To give more context, let’s talk a little about our young stars and the steps we took towards the big day! The LISA students have shown remarkable enthusiasm. Their involvement has breathed life into our innovations, and we're grateful to highlight their talents. From the genesis of our collaboration, we were embraced with a certainty that we had made the right choice in collaboration.
Our Amazing Team Putting Thoughts to Action
Our team deserves recognition too. The art director and music facilitator combined creativity and skill to prepare for the show on the 31st. Our dedicated volunteers worked hard in their roles. Our founder supported every part of the process leading up to the final performance. This isn’t just a team; it’s a perfect storm of talent, dedication, and passion, converging to create a moment of pure magic on stage.
Preparing for the Big Day
Preparing for the event evoked memories of exciting school days. We dedicated ourselves to rigorous practice with the students, transforming words into melodies and movements into dance. We aimed to create a memorable performance that would resonate with the audience.
The Big Day:
We arrived excited and had a final rehearsal with our young performers. We were confident they would do well, and they didn't disappoint. As the show began, we watched in awe as the students performed brilliantly. Every part of their act - the words, dances, songs, and acting - was beautiful. We were thrilled with the performance, and it was clear the audience enjoyed it too.
A Peak into the presentation:
The kids presented a song and a short play: The song and play captured the essence of seeking support and approval for pursuing creative careers, It deeply resonates with people who are created to be artists, serving as a powerful reminder of their initial passion and purpose. The lyrics encouraged our young artists to persevere through challenges while staying true to their core values and artistic integrity.
The day ended beautifully, every performance was a hit and all members of the team present felt like proud parents.
